Aragón Gluten Free S.L. has received a grant by the European Union from the Next Generation EU Fund, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan to invest in a rooftop solar photovoltaic installation for self-consumption at its center in Tauste (Zaragoza).

This initiative is part of the incentive program linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.

This project has been carried out within the framework of the call for the granting of subsidies from the Energy Savings and Efficiency Program in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), coordinated by the Institute for Energy Diversification and Savings (IDAE) and managed by the regional authorities.

With this action, savings are generated in the plant’s electrical consumption through renewable solar electricity generation, avoiding the generation of greenhouse gases and the consumption of natural resources from non-renewable energy sources.
